london expo - the tards are released!!
Created on: 2007-10-21
A spanktacular thank you to absolutely everyone who entertained even a friendly smile at this weekend's London MEDIA (not fucking anime) expo!
Seriously thank you guys so much for checking out the website.
Every purchase was so greatly valued, and I hope you all love the sketches I did with each issue. :P I'm now sitting here on my good friend Oliver "Tales From The Flat" Lambden's bed- watching him watching the special features on his Halo 3... The pizza isn't here yet, but all I've eaten today is 2 cans of Fosters and a bottle of Fanta Lemon. But that's not eating.
The Saturday had a lot more of a buzz than the Sunday...
...
Ooops, got distraced by Halo. So yeah, Sunday was a little deader, but still an amazing day for tards! Just wanna say hi to Stew of SFW. I've been having ideas for your comic. Email me!
...Bloody Halo! Also Andrew Macay, hope you liked the book in the end. We were sat right smack next to the ever sexy Etherington brothers, a deliciously incestious display of creative majesty! Look, here's a picture of Rob, the word maker, holding his sketch of him as the evil tenticle from the old point and click game "Day of the Tenticle" which I'm planning on mirroring in a game I'm working on at college, but that's for later...
There was a gay WoW convention next door as well, so much money gets pointlessly thrown at that crap, they had a hall near the size of our whole expo JUST for a shotty card game... whatever.
I'm gonna post this now before I fall to dead. Just wanted to have some words here for you wonderful people who got on the site the instant you read! Emails of opinions and comments are supremely appreciated!!!
Love and stuff!

Hi, I stopped past your stand on the Sunday of MCM Expo. Remember the two girls in bright colours? I was the short one with a fondness for the Shaun Spoof poster. I read my copy of TARDS during my lunch break, and thought it was brilliant. And my Zombie Chav is sat proudly on my wall (Yes, I'm THAT kid), amongst promo postcards and all other forms of advertisements from the day. See? It was well worth putting your web address on those Sketches! Well, I'll be keeping an eye on your page for any updates on new issues, I must buy more when I feel richer. Congrats on a successful weekend in London!
